A Bit About Me
With over 8 years of professional experience, I am an experienced product manager and strategist with a proven track record in leading technical and non-technical teams and innovating within complex systems. My extensive background includes developing products and services in a variety of industries, notably traditional finance (TradFi), fintech, AI, and blockchain/Web3.
In my capacity as the Vice President of Product & Strategy for (Smart) and at Nerd, I led efforts in product-discovery, iterative design, and strategic operations to achieve product-market-fit. Serving as an advisor and leader in various web3 projects, I guided organizations in developing tactical, tokenized solutions that utilize technologies like NFTs and smart contracts. Additionally, I provided counsel on transitioning centralized (web2) business operations into decentralized (web3) systems. I also served as product lead over some of our most important web3 products including, blockchain infrastructure, NFT platform, self-governance voting systems, oracle node utility, and tokenomics/rewards platforms.
With an MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford (Class of 2022) and a bachelor's degree in business management from Brigham Young University (BYU), focusing on human resources and strategy, I bring a robust academic foundation to my roles.
Before joining Smart and pursuing my MBA, I held roles ranging from financial advisor to product manager for Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA). In the latter position, I contributed significantly to the development of WFA’s digital wealth management solutions. I also completed a variety of internships and other roles, refining my business acumen and management skill sets.
Motivated by a passion for technologies that empower users to make informed decisions with their data, I am a dedicated advocate for user empowerment and technological innovation.
Outside of my professional commitments, I am an active community member and Node Operator of multiple blockchain projects.
